The first words that came out of my daughter’s mouth were melodic, as if she were singing a song.” Shauna experienced her first live performance singing in front of a large audience by the time she turned four. A former backup singer for Shania Twain, Shauna also sang lead vocals in the Sony animated film “The Swan Princess Christmas” in 2012. She wrote, produced, and sang the EDM-style music of the international fitness craze “Piloxing,” which has been featured on “The Steve Harvey show,” “Good Morning LA,” and many other daytime shows. Her music has even attracted the recognition of world leaders such as Nelson Mandela who featured her music at his birthday party in the Vodacom Stadium in South Africa. Some of her lyrical skills can possibly be accredited to her late distant relative and world renown writer “Mark Twain”. Which she looks to as inspiration and certainty knowing that the love of words and writing has always been in her blood. “I’ve been obsessed with words, writing and thought processes since I was a kid, and when I found out he was my relative somehow parts of my life made a lot more sense.” says Shauna. She is writing music that taps into the soulfulness of her voice. Her new project is a mix of country-soul, pop and Americana. Stripped down production with powerful lyrics and storytelling. Authentic, with heart touching melodies. Simple yet profound.

She has branched out into many facets of the music world such as producing, songwriting, scoring film projects, engineering, mixing, editing and moved into many different business aspects of the entertainment industry, including owning her own entertainment conglomerate “Bridging Greatness LLC” which includes her own state of the art multi-purpose recording studio “BG Studios LA” in Los Angeles. She is currently living in LA but travels between Nashville, LA and abroad. Wherever the world takes her to Bridge the gap between music genres, cultures, creeds, mindsets, age groups and more to elevate higher and eradicate boundaries. More recently she is helping creatives and individuals tap into their Greatness with “Bridging Greatness” Creative Coaching program.
